I didn't have anything to serve him but dust.</p> <p>He left and came back an hour later with a bottle of white rum and a couple of Cuban girls. It was nice of him, but it's very difficult to have a nice time with Half-head. His eyes are in weird spots now; you never know if he's looking at you or talking to you. The one eye just swings there. It's disturbing.</p> <p>Other than that, still dead here. All deliveries have stopped. The electricity has been turned off. The walk-in smells like rancid cheese.</p> <p>I've got some electricity from a generator in the back room. The water is still on. There's still propane in the furnace. Spent six hours trying to buy three items, caught a nasty cold (undoubtedly from some child sneezing on me), and was almost arrested because the Salvation Army bell ringer wouldn't make change ( I did <em>not</em> mean to drop a <em>100</em> in the kettle!) </p> <p>But we are on the road once again. Don't know my destination, just know it will be a place where the bartender keeps my drinks fresh and occasionally fondles my backside.
